Merseyside Police is today appealing for help in tracing two men who they believe could assist with an ongoing investigation.

Officers investigating the kidnapping and assault of a man in the West Derby area want to speak to 32 year-old Michael Bernard Huxley and 34 year-old Kisa Kasambara as they believe they could help with enquiries.

Huxley, who is from the Kensington area, is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Kasambara, formerly of St Joseph’s Close, Huyton, is described as black, 5ft 7in tall, of broad build with black hair and brown eyes.

Detectives are asking for anyone who has seen either man or knows of their whereabouts to get in touch.

Detective Chief Inspector John Webster said: “I would urge anyone who has seen Michael Huxley or Kisa Kasambara, or knows of either men’s whereabouts, to contact Merseyside Police as a matter of urgency. We believe that both men may have vital information which could assist with an ongoing investigation.”
